Elisabeth Hayward (birth name Elisabeth Rosemary Hayward-Brown) is an actress best known for her role in The Next Mrs. Jacob Anderson (2009).
She was born on September 29, 1987, in Wahroonga, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She is the only child born to Chris Hayward Brown, an Architect, and Helen Hayward-Brown, a Medical Anthropologist. From age 1 she was brought up in the creative community of the Blue Mountains (West of Sydney) among artists, writers, actors and musicians.
At the age of 11 she showed her strong interest in acting, arranging her enrollment in many acting classes. At 14, she made TARA her new high school, a school which provided a strong theatre curriculum. Then at 16 while still at school, she enrolled in the Young Actors Studio at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). After 12 months of part time studies at NIDA, and a year left of high school, Elisabeth found herself cast in many short films in Sydney.
In 2006, after graduating high school, Elisabeth Hayward came to Hollywood to study at TVI Actors Studio. During her time in Hollywood she has been cast in many independent projects. One of those projects included the role of Mrs. Anderson in The Next Mrs. Jacob Anderson (2009), for which she was nominated for Best Actress in a Short Film at the 2010 SoCal Film Festival.
Elisabeth Hayward was married to actor Brent McGregor from 2011 to 2014. She resides in Sherman Oaks, California.
